BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT THERE ARE A FEW THINGS WE/YOU NEED TO KNOW. PLEASE CALL US TO DISCUSS OPTIONS IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING APPLY TO YOU:
- We are currently following CDC guidelines requiring masks or face coverings. At this time, you WILL need to wear a mask or face covering at all times in the office.
- You will be the only one allowed in the office at the time of your appointment(s), anyone who comes with you will be asked to wait outside of the office or in the car.
- It is highly recommended that you remove your contact lenses a full 7 days prior to your consultation. If you can not remove them, this will mean a second visit before surgery, at that time, they will need to be removed for the full seven days.
- If possible, bring your contact lens prescription and last eye exam records to this appointment.
- Please notify us if you have had previous eye surgery of any kind
- You were pregnant or nursing in the last 6 months or plan to become pregnant in the next 6 months
- You have an autoimmune disorder
- You have had a previous diagnosis of Cataracts, Glaucoma or Keratoconus
- You recently started wearing reading glasses and have never worn glasses or contacts before
- Lastly, if you are under the age of 18 you will not be able to have the surgery.
